POSITION OVERVIEW

 

The Business Development Associate will work to drive qualified leads to the sales team while also assisting with administrative tasks post deal closure.  Working between Sales and Marketing, this role will also support initial and continued engagement of potential leads to support the transition from the marketing process into the sales pipeline, as well as assisting with the generation of new sales prospects.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Outbound Sales

  • Identify and qualify prospective customers, as well as maintain and nurture the sales pipeline
  • Work leads from multiple marketing programs, qualifying for budget, authority, need and timeline on the prospect's behalf while clearly and professionally conveying the benefits of the Logicworks offerings
  • Tenacious follow-up on all leads until they are either disqualified or an appointment is set-up with Senior Sales Executives (Solutions Specialists)
  • Achieve appointment-setting quota
  • Present the Logicworks value proposition and brand messaging clearly and confidently through multiple communication channels including but not limited to phone, email and other communication methods
  • Gather and document information, using Salesforce.com, to enable productive engagements for Sales
  • Collaborate with marketing to refine sales playbooks, prospect messaging, and multi-touch campaigns
  • Schedule and handoff qualified prospects to Solutions Specialists

 

Sales Support

 

Ownership of the Deal Desk

  • Validation of CRM Records as well as ensuring that all paperwork associated with closed deals
  • Creation and subsequent maintenance of file repository for client on confluence and shared file system
  • Assist with Internal Resource Scheduling for Sales calls
  • Assist with the completion of security questionnaires
  • Assist with customization of intro/sales decks and proposal generation
  • Assistance with RFIs/RFPs

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of technology-based sales experience
  • Experience in outbound call center environment preferred
  • Proficient with Social Media
  • Excellent prospecting and consultation skills
  • Confident, compelling communications and presentation style, with exceptional written and spoken communications skills
  • Ability to adapt and be effective with different personality types and styles
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
  • Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM
  • Proven ability to take initiative to meet goals and be self-directed, seeking guidance when needed
  • Proven track record of succeeding quotas and goals
  • BA/BS in Business or Marketing preferred
