Marketing / Sales Operations Analyst

Position Overview:


In this role, the analyst will own a variety of activities related to the day-to-day operations of the Sales/Marketing Operations function, such as data analysis and reporting, process analysis, supporting monthly and quarterly reporting, and program management support for new business management initiatives. This role will be a critical member of the Sales and Marketing Management team collaborating with, and providing critical support to the Sales and Marketing teams. A successful candidate will have strong data analysis skills, superior Excel skills, strong creative and problem-solving skills, project management, and collaborative abilities.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Organize data and generate deep customer insight to enhance sales force productivity and effectiveness
  • Create comprehensive dashboards and automated metrics reports for Sales and Marketing and performance metrics, revenue, renewal rates, etc.
  • Provide data, analyses, modeling, and reporting to support sales force monthly and quarterly business reviews. Analyze revenue trends and variances to goals, and communicate to Sales and Marketing managers.
  • Detect emerging customer or market trends and help determine how the business can meet those opportunities and challenges to drive greater sales success.
  • Partner with the Sales and Marketing, and Finance teams to drive direction and strategic initiatives through quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Analyze historical data to identify trends and insights (such as advertiser spend analysis, business input metrics) and benchmark against the broader industry.
  • Supports ad-hoc data analysis requests
  • Drive results. Work with key stakeholders to develop and streamline campaign execution process
  • Project Manage across Digital, Strategy, Product, and Partner teams in order effectively deliver market campaigns/conversations
  • Execute marketing programs, campaigns and events – tracks ROI, targets, and results of every initiative launched
  • Support C-Level team with go-to-market plans
  • Serve as a link between marketing and sales


Basic Qualifications:


  • BA/BS degree in business or marketing
  • 2+ years of relevant business/marketing analysis in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud CRM and HubSpot
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
  • Expert with Google Analytics


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience partnering with Sales
  • Able to deliver high-quality results in an ambiguous and rapidly changing business environment
  • Hands on experience with WordPress
  • Strong Analytical Skills
  • Experience working on attribution models and tracking
